Funding of the judicial review

Funding of the judicial review of the Robert Hamill Inquiry Panel’s ruling on applications for anonymity

It has been suggested that the Robert Hamill Inquiry is funding the judicial review of its Panel’s ruling on applications for anonymity.

This is not true.

The Robert Hamill Inquiry Panel regards its ruling on anonymity as having been rationally made and with proper regard to the law and to all material facts, and does not believe it would be appropriate for the Inquiry to fund a challenge to it.
