R v Atkinson, Atkinson and Hanvey5th October 2012
There has subsequently been a series of legal arguments and the proceedings are at the stage of a part heard mixed committal.
The mixed committal hearing commenced on 11th June 2012 and was adjourned on foot of a defence application.
It resumed on 16th July for an anonymity application in respect of a key witness.
The committal was due to resume on 20th August but could not proceed due to the ill-health of one of the defendants.
The next hearing in the case is fixed for 28th September 2012.
